30 Day Card Challenge - Day 1

Good Morning! I have decided that I am going to give myself a crafty challenge. Each day for the next 30 days, I will be making and posting a new card to my blog.

Wish me luck. I am not very good with routine so this will definitely be a challenge. Especially since I work full-time, go to school and am very active in my church group. ;) But, I need to get off the couch and into crafting. I hope you enjoy what follows!

As an incentive to get a few more visitors, all of those who become followers of my blog and comment on one of the cards over the next 30 days will be eligible for a RAK. I haven't determined what to include yet, but will post more about it later in the 30 days. I might even let someone pick their prize. :)

Thank you for all your support!

Joy

My husband needed a pick-me-up the other day, so I decided to make him a card. I left it on the door handle of our condo. I wanted him to read it first thing in the morning.

His favorite color is green. I tried to make it somewhat manly. (Slight failure on my behalf.) But he did love it!

Burlap Banner

I have a brand new obsession... BURLAP. I have never worked with it before now and have no idea how I have lived all my life without the AWESOME qualities this wonderful fabric contains. I've made a few projects with it and will continue to use it where I can.

Below is the Burlap "LOVE" Banner I created.
